If you love...

I’ve got a question for all of you out there (if you exist):
When you love, if you love, you don’t hurt, right?
I mean, when you love someone with all your being, with more than your being, you do anything to avoid hurting that someone, don’t you?
Everything is so messed up, all the time, people die all the time, people disappear and the only thing you can do, the only thing it will help, even if it’s just a little bit, is to protect the people you truly love. There could be a bus right now, with their  name on it, they can get hit with something on their  head, they could fall from the stairs, everything, anything could go wrong, and if you don’t do everything possible to protect the people you love, if you don’t tell them you love them, if you don’t kick the ass of the people that hurt them, then they won’t know you loved them, they won’t know you had their backs, they won’t know you’d do anything to get them from being hurt. Isn’t that what love is all about? To love someone knowing their true colors, to protect someone even if they won’t protect you, to put their happiness in front of yours and to get killed before they get hurt?
To love is to not hurt, to love is to do everything you can not to hurt, because if you say you love and your hurt, then that’s not love, that’s evil, and if you keep on hurting, and hurting and hurting then that, that is pure selfishness, because you know you don’t love, you know you’ve hurt before but you keep on doing it, you keep on doing it for you, because you get off on seeing those people suffer. 
If you love, you don’t hurt… if you love, you put your freaking life in front of a missile before you let that someone, your someone, get hurt. That’s love.
