Cruelty and humanity

Cruelty and humanity are always holding hands. There is no humanity without cruelty and there is no cruelty without humanity. People disagree on this but allow me to review that.
The former is fairly easy to understand, if there was no cruelty there was no need to humanity, people wouldn’t run to help others if there was no need to help, obviously. However, the latter is harder to unravel, see if there was no humanity, if people wouldn’t run to help others in need, then everyone would, eventually, need help, everyone that is, with the exception of those making the others need help.  If most of the inhabitants of our World needed help and there was no one to give it to them, ultimately they would die, psychologically, initially and at last physically.
Even if there was one whole country with millions of people, on Earth, it would be rather hard to live because at this moment everyone depends on others. Everyone can try and deny that but everyone knows it’s true.
There is always going to be cruelty in our World, but at least there is always going to be humanity as well.
Cruelty and humanity are always holding hands. Don’t try to separate them, it would be the worst thing you would ever do.
